Brand Evolution

1994

Michael graduated as a Community Pharmacist and took an interest in skin care while gaining experience.

1998

Initial R&D began at Kingsley Health Care Chemist, with daily feedback from loyal customers.

2001

Manufacturing in WA started; products labelled and distributed to pharmacies.

2002

Launched Michael’s Skin Range and Prim-E with/without sunscreen.

2003

TV presence and expanded national/international distribution to Singapore.

2004

Physios adopted Medi Rub for soft tissue treatment, opening new distribution channels.

2005

Michael’s Skin Range formulation is improved, with olive oil used as the main moisturising ingredient. This gave rise to the Olivara range, Skin care enriched with olive oil; including wash, lotion, skin cream, shampoo & conditioner.

2006

Aloe Vera Gel is introduced. Prim-E range used in hospitals for patients with dry skin as a result of medical treatment and medication side effects.

2007

Olivara 2L range is introduced.

2009

Updated internet mail ordering which has evolved into a rapidly expanding distribution of our products directly to our loyal customers.

2010

A necessity to expand resulted in a relocation from Herdsman to our own premises at 2/25 Ruse St Osborne Park.

2011

Continued promotion lead to the use of Medi Rub in major hospitals and elite athlete programs in Singapore.

2012

Over the previous few years, Michael’s Products was used extensively by the Australian Institute of Sport, WAFL clubs and the Australian Ballet.

2014

Website update and creation of social media to enhance the distribution and availability of our products to our local customers.

2016

All manufacturing occurs in Australia, with the majority based in WA. Michael’s Products still uses unchanged, original product formulas.
